Kitchen cabinets of this quality are made with very cheap [quality] wood products. Almost all of them are made with particle board or MDF (medium density fiberboard) panels instead of plywood. Those that are made of plywood, are made of a very sheaply made plywood that is made in China, assembles with very low quality adhesives. A lot of times these adhesives contain toxic chemicals. They are then shipped over the ocean for weeks, if not months, at a time, exposed to moisture and very high levels of humidity. Moisture and humidity are not friendly to plywood, particle board, or MDF.
