From segmented and dated to open, warm, and refined

The vision for this home was clear: create a more cohesive interior with better flow, stronger architectural character, and finishes that feel both elevated and inviting.

To achieve that, the renovation focused on opening up key living areas, introducing custom millwork, upgrading material selections, and redesigning functional spaces to better support entertaining, comfort, and everyday use. The end result is a home that feels tailored, timeless, and distinctly Scottsdale.

Living Room

The living room was reimagined to feel more open, connected, and architecturally intentional. The original central fireplace was removed to eliminate visual separation between the living and dining areas, creating a more seamless flow throughout the main space.

A new gas fireplace was added to the south wall and finished with a custom mantel surround, establishing a refined focal point without interrupting the openness of the room. Tongue & groove ceiling detail and engineered hardwood floors complete the transformation with warmth, texture, and timeless appeal.

Dining Room

The dining room was elevated with a custom built-in that adds both sophistication and everyday functionality. Designed to feel integrated rather than added on, the cabinetry enhances the room with tailored storage and a polished, custom-home feel.

Custom rift white oak cabinetry gives the kitchen a refined, modern warmth, while the new layout makes the room feel more open, balanced, and highly usable. The finished result is a kitchen that feels as beautiful as it is practical.

Powder Bathroom

Though compact in size, the powder bath was designed to make a strong visual impact. Limewashed walls and ceiling create a soft, layered texture, while handcrafted-style Zellige tile adds depth and character.

Custom rift oak cabinetry and Taj Mahal countertops bring richness and warmth, and the addition of a pony wall creates subtle separation between the vanity and toilet area for improved privacy and function.

Designed for entertaining, the custom bar combines warmth, texture, and clean-lined luxury. Rift oak cabinetry is paired with quartz countertops and a tile backsplash that continues behind the glass cabinet doors for a more elevated, finished look.
